How to Get a Deoxys Egg With a Code in Platinum

Deoxys is a Pokemon that appears in the third, fourth and fifth generation Pokemon titles. This Pokemon does not evolve into any other Pokemon but has four forms it can shift at will. In "Pokemon Platinum," Deoxys appears in the Pal Park area. Deoxys does not come from an egg in the normal game, but you can get a Deoxys egg by entering a code using a Nintendo DS Action Replay. The Action Replay device allows you to modify the game's code as the system reads it.

  Insert your Pokemon Platinum cartridge into the cartridge slot on the DSi Action Replay.

  Insert the DSi Action Replay cartridge into the cartridge slot on your DS.

  Turn on the DS. The Action Replay will recognize the "Pokemon Platinum" cartridge.

  Click "Add New Code" and enter the name of the code. You can name it whatever you want, but it's best to name it something descriptive, such as "Deoxys."

  Press the "START" button to submit the code.

  Open the "Codes" menu, highlight the code you created and press the "A" button. A check mark will appear next to the code.

  Press the "START" button to start the game or choose "Start Game" from the main menu.

  Load your saved game and go to the museum in Oreburgh. Hold down the L and R buttons and talk to the guy with the glasses behind the counter. The Deoxys egg will appear in the empty slot in your party.
