How to Unlock Sora in Kingdom Hearts for DS

When you play the 2009 Nintendo DS entry in the "Kingdom Hearts" series, "Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days," you play as Roxas, the "nobody" of Sora, the series' protagonist. The only characters you team up with during the game are the members of Organization XIII, the villains of "Kingdom Hearts II." If you want to play as Disney characters, you must unlock them. You can also unlock Sora if you want to explore the optional Mission Mode levels of "Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days" with the star of the series.

Instructions

  Complete the Story Mode of the game. You cannot unlock Sora until you have completed the game. You can still redo missions, however, even after the Story Mode of the game finishes.

  Earn a score of 100 percent on each mission in Story Mode. To earn a score of 100 percent, you must completely fill the status bar of each mission. You will see this status bar on the bottom of the lower screen during the mission. The goal(s) of each mission differs, but you can read about the mission's goal(s) in detail in the mission description. You may have to fight a certain number of Heartless Enemies or collect a certain number of Badges. You can complete a mission with less than 100 percent, continue with the story and return to get 100 percent later.

  Purchase the "Soul of Sora" item from the Moogle Shop. After you earn 100 percent on each mission in Story Mode, you will be able to purchase the "Soul of Sora" from any Moogle Shop for 10,000 Heart Points.
