How to Hatch a Digiegg in Digimon Dawn

"Digimon World: Dawn" is a role-playing game that places players in the role of a Digimon Tamer. You can create a party of Digimon to explore dungeons and battle other Digimon in the coliseum. Digimon not in your party are left on your Farm, a fully customizable digital island. Using the Nintendo DS Wi-Fi feature, you can exchange data with another player to breed Digimon and create DigiEggs. Although the eggs require Experience Points to hatch, they cannot participate in battle, so they must be raised on your Farm.

Instructions

    • 1

Go to the DigiColiseum and speak to the Kudamon behind the counter in the entrance hall. Select "Digi-Matching" and follow the on-screen instructions to breed your Digimon with another player's and create an egg.

    • 2

Return to your Farm and place your DigiEgg there. If your Farm is full, transfer an active Digimon into the DigiBank to make room.

    • 3

Examine the DigiEgg and it will tell you hatching conditions. The conditions are Experience-Point related and require experience of one or more species.

    • 4

Go to the Farm Shop and purchase a Terrain Board with bonuses that match the species of your egg. The Terrain Boards will cause Digimon standing on them to gain correlating species experience points at an enhanced rate.

    • 5

Continue playing the game and return periodically to speak to your DigiEgg. Speaking to the egg once the conditions have been met will cause it to hatch.
