How Can I Get Totodile in Diamond?

Totodile, a water-type Pokemon, evolves into Croconaw at Level 18 and Feraligatr at Level 30. The Pokedexes of all Nintendo DS Pokemon games describe Totodile as a creature possessing powerful jaws that could injure Totodile's trainer. Its defense and attack abilities are its strongest stats, and its first four moves include Leer, Scratch, Rage and Water Gun. While Totodile does not appear in "Pokemon: Diamond," players still have the opportunity to acquire it through transferring and trading.

  Insert "Pokemon: Emerald" into the Nintendo DS game slot on the bottom of the system. Complete the Hoenn Pokedex to earn Totodile. Players must see or capture all 202 Pokemon that possess a Hoenn Pokedex number.

  Defeat Greevil in "Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness" to enable trading if you do not have "Pokemon: Emerald." Defeat 100 trainers at Mt. Battle to earn a Totodile. Go to Phenac City to trade Totodile to any Nintendo Game Boy Advance Pokemon game.

  Complete the National Pokedex in "Pokemon: Diamond" when you see or own all of the Pokemon in every region of the game. Save the game and turn off the system. Insert "Pokemon: Emerald" or another Game Boy Advance Pokemon game that has Totodile into the bottom slot of the Nintendo DS. Turn on the system.

  Select the "Pal Park" transfer option from the main game menu. Select "Totodile" to transfer. Travel to the Pal Park, located along Route 221 in "Pokemon: Diamond." You will be given Pokeballs to capture Totodile. You may need to wander throughout Pal Park to encounter Totodile. When Totodile is encountered, throw a Pokeball. You are guaranteed to capture it.
