How to Get the Route to Yellow Forest on a Pokewalker

The Yellow Forest is a course for the Pokewalker that features only Pikachu. You can only download the route when Nintendo releases it, so you'll need to check the official Pokemon website for its release dates. On the Yellow Forest course, you can catch two special Pikachu: one that knows the move Fly and one that knows the move Surf. Both moves are extremely effective against Ground-type Pokemon, which are strong against Electric-type Pokemon like Pikachu.

Instructions

  Insert your copy of "Pokemon HeartGold" or "Pokemon SoulSilver" into your Nintendo DS.

  Turn the Nintendo DS system on and select the "Pokemon HeartGold" or "Pokemon SoulSilver" icon, depending on which version you are playing. Press "Start" to begin the game.

  Select "Mystery Gift" from the main menu, and then select "Receive Gift." Select "Get Via Nintendo WFC," and then confirm the option by selecting "Yes."

  Go to any Pokemart after the map has finished downloading. Talk to the green deliveryman in the corner of the Pokemart to receive the route. Save the game.

  Start the game over and select "Connect to Pokewalker" from the main menu options. Select any Pokemon from your PC box, select the Yellow Forest route and let the Pokemon transfer to the Pokewalker.
