How to Get Evolution Stones in Pokemon SoulSilver

Evolution stones are items that, when used with a compatible Pokemon, cause it to evolve. Evolved Pokemon are much stronger than unevolved Pokemon, but they learn moves at a later level and, in some cases, do not learn any new moves at all, so you have to make a decision when using stones: higher stats or better attack moves. Evolution stones are found scattered throughout the land of Johto and Kanto in "Pokemon SoulSilver," and they can also be purchased with points at the Pokeathlon Dome.

  Travel to the Pokeathlon Dome, west of the National Park in Johto.

  Enter any contest and play the mini-games to win points. The better you play, the more points you will get.

  Go to the redemption counter to purchase stones with the points you have earned. Stones will cost anywhere from 2,500 to 3,000 points. On Monday you can purchase the Moon Stone, Sun Stone, Water Stone, Shiny Stone and Dusk Stone. On Tuesday you can purchase the Fire Stone, Water Stone, Dusk Stone and Dawn Stone. On Wednesday you can purchase the Water Stone, Thunder Stone, Moon Stone, Shiny Stone or Dawn Stone. On Thursday you can purchase the Dusk Stone, Shiny Stone, Leaf Stone, Fire Stone and Thunder Stone. On Friday you can purchase the Dawn Stone, Dusk Stone, Sun Stone and Water Stone. On Saturday you can purchase the Dawn Stone, Dusk Stone, Shiny Stone, Thunder Stone and Leaf Stone. On Sunday you can purchase the Dawn Stone, Shiny Stone, Fire Stone and Sun Stone.
