How to Get Charizard on Pokemon: Platinum

Players can obtain the Pokemon Charizard in "Pokemon Platinum," but they must be willing to start another Pokemon adventure first. Charmander, Charmeleon and Charizard are not available in "Pokemon Platinum" without importing one of the Fire Lizards to the DS game. Charizard is an immense and strong beast that is able to melt nearly anything with its intense fire breath. Bringing over a Charizard from "Pokemon FireRed" or "Pokemon LeafGreen" is a snap and it will allow you to broil your foes that much quicker.
