How to Draw on a DSi FlipNote

"Flipnote Studio" is a free gamer application on the hand-held Nintendo DSi video game console. This software application allows users to draw pictures and add animation and sound to them. Once a user draws a picture, adds sound and completes their "Flipnote Studio" project, they can share their masterpiece with other DSi gamers. Users need the Nintendo DSi stylus or a replacement stylus in order to draw pictures within the "Flipnote Studio" application.

Instructions

  Press the "Power" button on the Nintendo DSi to turn the device on. When the menu appears in the bottom screen, side-scroll to the "Flipnote Studio" icon and tap it with your stylus to start the application.

  Tap the "Create Flipnote" box on the next screen. A blank white page will appear.

  Press on the white screen with the stylus and slide the stylus across the screen to draw shapes, pictures and other items. Press the "Right" button to animate the next page of your "Flipnote Studio" project. Continue to draw and create new pages for your project.

  Press the "Down" button to view your animated "Flipnote Studio" project. Press the "Up" button and then tap "Save" to save your project.
