How to Beat Pokemon SoulSilver

"Pokemon SoulSilver" is a role-playing game in which the player must become the top trainer in his region by collecting, training, and battling with creatures known as "Pokemon." The game ends with a climactic battle against Red, the protagonist of "Pokemon FireRed" and "LeafGreen." If you know what kind of Pokemon Red is using, the game's final battle against him becomes much easier.

- 1
  Use your strongest ground-type Pokemon against Red's Pikachu. The Pikachu's electric attacks should not be effective against your Pokemon, which will allow you to slowly wear the Pikachu down. Feel free to heal your ground-type Pokemon if its HP gets too low.

  Switch to your strongest electric-type Pokemon when Red sends out his Lapras. Since Lapras is part water-type, electric attacks will be very effective against it. Heal your Pokemon when Lapras casts its "Blizzard" spell, as the battle conditions make that particular spell even more powerful.

  Switch to your most powerful fighting Pokemon when Red brings out his Snorlax, as any fighting-type moves will work efficiently against it. If Snorlax uses his "Giga Impact" move, it will likely knock out your Pokemon, so make sure to use a "Revive" on your Pokemon when this happens.

  Switch back to your electric-type Pokemon when Red summons his Blastoise. Since Blastoise is a pure water-type, electric-types will serve you even better than in the battle against Lapras. Heal your Pokemon if its HP gets below 50 percent, since the Blastoise has powerful attacks (Blizzard and Hydro Cannon) that will deal massive damage to any Pokemon.

  Switch to your most powerful psychic-type Pokemon when Venusuar is summoned. Psychic attacks will prove to be highly effective against the grass-type Pokemon. If Venusuar hits you with his sleep powder attack, use a full heal or awakening item on your Pokemon as soon as you can.

  Switch to your most powerful rock-type Pokemon when red brings out his final Pokemon, Charizard. Use your rock-type attacks on the beast, and heal after Charizard's attacks, which should prove to be ineffective against your rock-type. After defeating Charizard, Red will be defeated and the game will be complete.
