How to Get 99,999 Bells in ACWW

Bells are the currency used in "Animal Crossing: Wild World" for the Nintendo DS game system. Players acquire them in many ways. You can sell items including, fish, insects, fossils, fruit and furniture to Tom Nook. The easiest way to acquire large amounts of Bells is to start a foreign fruit orchard. Every town in "Animal Crossing" starts with one type of fruit, which sells for 100 bells per piece. Foreign fruit sells for 500 bells per piece. A large foreign fruit orchard can yield more than 100,000 Bells-worth of in fruit every three days.

  Acquire an axe, shovel and piece of foreign fruit. You can buy axes and shovels from Tom Nook and acquire foreign fruit by sending a letter containing a piece of native fruit to a neighbor.

  Select a location to place the foreign fruit orchard. A large open area close to Tom Nook's store is an excellent location because you can quickly gather and sell fruit to Tom Nook.

  Cut down any trees in the foreign fruit orchard's location. Enter the inventory screen by pressing the "Y" button and drag the axe from your inventory to your character portrait to equip the axe. Press the "A" button while facing a tree to swing the axe. Hit the tree three times with your axe to cut down the tree.

  Equip your shovel and press the "A" button while facing a stump to dig up the stump. Press the "A" button while facing the stump's hole to fill the hole. Remove all stumps and holes in the foreign fruit orchard's location, then dig a hole for your first foreign fruit tree. Trees can only grow if there are no obstructions in the eight tiles surrounding the tree tile. Only dig holes in open spaces.

  Enter your inventory and select a piece of foreign fruit while the shovel is equipped. Select the "Bury" option and you will bury the fruit. A sapling will sprout at the buried fruit's location.

  Wait three days or set your DS clock ahead by three days. The foreign fruit sapling will grow into a fruit tree and will bear three pieces of fruit. Press the "A" button while not wielding a tool to shake fruit from the tree. Collect the fruit by standing over it and pressing the "X" button.

  Bury the gathered foreign fruit. Wait three days or advance the DS clock by three days until the buried fruit grows into fruit trees. Continue to gather and bury fruit and pass time until you have 70 foreign fruit trees.

  Remove all excess items from your inventory and gather fruit until your inventory is full. Talk to Tom Nook and select the "Sell" option. Drag the fruit from your inventory grid to Tom Nook's sales grid and select the "OK" button. You will receive 500 Bells for every piece of fruit. Continue to gather and sell fruit until you have 99,999 Bells.
