How to Help the Man in Pewter City in Pokemon SoulSilver

For "Pokemon" trainers aspiring to become the Grand Champion, a quest that will take them to many different cities stands in their way. In the Nintendo DS game "Pokemon SoulSilver," trainers travel across the regions of Kanto and Johto. One of the destinations in the Kanto region is Pewter City. This city of stone is a small community, and once you explore it you will come across a man who is waiting to hear from someone like you.

  Travel to Pewter City. You can reach it by traveling down Route 2.

  Head up the staircase in the middle of town, where an old man is standing by a ledge.

  Talk with the old man. He will note that you remind him of the days when he used to travel. Your visit will bring the old man joy.

  Receive the Rainbow Wing. The old man will give you the Rainbow Wing, something he collected on his own travels. The Rainbow Wing will allow you to hunt down the legendary Pokemon, Ho-Oh.
