How to Pass the Battle Tower in Diamond

The Battle Tower and Fight Area aren't the only areas on Battle Island in "Pokemon Diamond" and its counterpart, "Pokemon Pearl." Beyond Battle Tower, you can find new areas, such as Routes 225 through 230, Stark Mountain and the Resort Area, where you can find the Ribbon Syndicate and get a massage. But until you can prove your mettle as a Pokemon Trainer and get the National Pokedex, there will always be people blocking the way past the Battle Tower.

  Return to Sandgem Town after you have completely filled out your Pokedex by seeing every Pokemon in Sinnoh. Sandgem Town is the first place you visited after starting the game, and the place where you met Professor Rowan, who gave you your first Pokemon.

  Go to Professor Rowan's lab. This is the building in the west end of the town. Speak with Professor Rowan, and he will give you the National Pokedex. Professor Oak will also make an appearance, and will give you the Poke Radar and access to the Pal Park.

  Return to Battle Island. The people who were blocking your way to the other parts of the island will now be gone. Speak with the man near the northwest entrance to Route 225, and he will give you the Super Rod. You are now free to move past the Battle Tower to the other areas on Battle Island.
