How to Get a Munchlax in Pokemon

Munchlax is the pre-evolution, or "baby" evolution, of Snorlax. A Munchlax will evolve into a Snorlax once it has achieved full happiness. As Munchlax cannot be caught in the wild, obtain one through breeding. In order to breed a Munchlax, two Snorlax or one Snorlax and a Ditto are required. If using two Snorlax, they will have to be of opposite gender. If using one Snorlax and a Ditto, it does not matter what gender the Snorlax is. A "Full Incense" item is also required.

  Travel to a Daycare Center. The location of the Daycare Center depends on which version of the game is being played. In "Pokemon Diamond," "Pokemon Pearl" and "Pokemon Platinum," the Daycare Center is in Solaceon Town. In "Pokemon HeartGold" and "Pokemon SoulSilver," the Daycare Center is close to Goldenrod City.

  Talk to the owner and deposit the two Snorlax or one Snorlax and one Ditto. Make sure one of the Snorlax is holding a "Full Incense."

  Walk around until the owner calls. Talk to the owner to receive an egg.

  Walk around until the egg hatches. This process will be sped up if a Pokemon with "Flame Body" is in your party.
