How to Catch Lapras in SoulSilver

"Pokemon SoulSilver" is the remake of the "Pokemon Silver" video game made for the Nintendo DS. The game features many different types of Pokemon, one of them being the elusive Lapras. This Pokemon can be found in Union Cave but has a special requirement that needs to happen in order for it to appear. There are also many dangerous trainers between you and Lapras. If you can navigate through the twisting maze of Union Cave and defeat your foes, you will have a chance for your very own Lapras.

Instructions

- 1
  Wait until the game time is Friday. This is the only day of the week that Lapras will make an appearance.

  Travel to Union Cave, which is located at Route 33, just east of Azalea Town. Enter the cave on the Ground Floor level.

  Travel on the northwest path until you reach a Pokemaniac. Go to the west of him and then use the Surf ability to travel south to reach some stairs.

  Go down the stairs to enter B1F of Union Cave. Defeat Pokemanic Andrew who blocks your path, then use Surf to travel the water on the east.

  Fight Pokemaniac Calvin blocking your path. Afterwards, go down the stairs to reach B2F of Union Cave.

  Surf southeast on the water, then take the western path until you disembark on land. Go up the steps to battle and defeat Ace Trainer Gwen.

  Proceed down the steps then head south. Fight Ace Trainer Emma and defeat her to open the path towards the water with Lapras in it.

  Surf the water to engage Lapras. Use moves like False Swipe to gradually decrease its hit points. Once it is weak, throw UltraBalls until it is captured.
