How to Catch Cresselia in Pokemon: Diamond

"Pokemon Diamond" is in the fourth generation of the "Pokemon" gaming series set on Sinnoh island. The game features many powerful Pokemon, but the strongest ones are known as Legendaries. One of the Legendaries in "Pokemon Diamond" is a psychic-type called Cresselia. You can start the process of capturing Cresselia once you defeat the Elite Four and collect the National Dex, which requires you to first complete a side mission in Canalave City.

Instructions

Unlock Cresselia In the Wild

  Travel to Canalave City and enter the home near the sailor and his boat.

  Walk over and speak to the sick child laying on the bed. Exit the house and talk to the sailor to accept his offer to travel to Fullmoon Island.

  Walk into the woods after arriving on Fullmoon Island until you see Cresselia. Approach it to make it flee. It will drop its Lunar Wing.

  Go back to the sailor and return to Canalave City. Give the Lunar Wing to the sick boy in bed to cure him.
Capturing Cresselia

  Place a Wobbuffet that is slightly below level 50 and has the skill Shadow Tag in the first position of your team. Purchase as many Max Repel items as you want, the more the better.

  Travel to the transition area between route 210 and 215. Go back and forth between the two routes, using your Poketech Map periodically until it detects Cresselia nearby.

  Use Max Repel and walk across the grassy areas until you encounter Cresselia in battle. Your Wobbuffet's Shadow Tag will prevent Cresselia from fleeing in the first round of battle.

  Use a Master Ball as soon as you can to capture Cresselia.
