How to Enter the Cerulean Cave in Pokemon HeartGold

In your Pokemon trainer's quest to "Catch 'em all," you will have to travel to the darkest and most dangerous regions where Pokemon exist. In the Nintendo DS game "Pokemon HeartGold," some of the most dangerous and rare Pokemon live in Cerulean Cave. Cerulean Cave is located in the northwest area of the region of Kanto, but you will have to face numerous trials before you can enter the cave.

Instructions

  Begin your game and proceed through the land of Kanto collecting the eight badges from the Kanto gym leaders.

  Travel to the Pokemon League and battle the Elite Four. You will have to take on all four trainers as well as the grand champion without resting your Pokemon.

  Board the S.S. Aqua and travel to the region of Johto.
- 4
  Defeat the eight gym leaders of Johto and collect each of the badges.
- 5
  Travel back to Cerulean City and make your way towards the cave. With all 16 badges, you will be deemed worthy to enter the cave and you can proceed inside.
