"Viva Pinata: Pocket Paradise" is a game in the Viva Pinata brand of life simulations games. It was released on the Nintendo DS on September 8, 2008. The game focuses on attracting and breeding different species of pinata inside your garden. One of the new species added to the game is the Jeli, a rare and difficult pinata to attract. The game gives you no indication that it has visited your garden so you must keep an eye out for it at nights. This is best accomplished by using the full-map view and watching for it to appear.

Start a game and breed pinatas until you reach level 6. Level 6 designates the point where Jelis are attracted to your garden.

Remove all sources of light from your garden. These objects include firebrands, glow rocks and the like. Include items such as rainbows and trees as Jelis are attracted to these objects.

Wait until a Jeli appears in your garden at night. If one arrives, whack it with your shovel. The Jeli is now a resident of your garden.
