How to Get the TM Thief in Pokemon Diamond

As with other "Pokemon" games, in "Pokemon Diamond" there are dozens of TMs to be found as treasure hidden in Poke Balls throughout the world. One of these items, TM46: Thief, allows you to teach your Pokemon to steal items from their enemies. Some Pokemon learn this ability on their own, but if you want to teach the ability to a Pokemon that doesn't have it in its skill set, you need to track down the TM in Eterna City.

Instructions

  Travel to the Eterna City Team Galactic Building after you have defeated Gardenia, the Eterna City Gym Leader. She gives you the Forest Badge, which allows you to use the Cut ability.

  Go to the Pokemon Center in Eterna City and heal your Pokemon. From the Pokemon Center, head north. Use your new Cut ability to cut down the trees to get to the Team Galactic Building.

  Head east from the front of the Team Galactic Building, then turn north when you are able to. Cut through the tree here to find a Poke Ball. Open it to get TM 46: Thief.
