How to Chat With Random People on PictoChat on DSi

"PictoChat" is a free chat program included with every Nintendo DS, DSi or DSi XL. Users can type messages or draw pictures and send them to everyone in a chat room. "PictoChat" includes four chat rooms, each holding a maximum of 16 people. To chat with a random person, that person must also be in a "PictoChat" chat room and within 65 feet of your Nintendo DSi wireless signal.

  Turn on your Nintendo DSi.

  Tap "PictoChat" from the DSi's main menu.

  Tap on a chat room that has people in it. Each chat room lists the number of people currently occupying it.

  Use the keyboard at the bottom of the screen to type a message. Tap "Send" to send your message to all members of the chat room.

  Use your stylus to draw pictures in the area above the keyboard. Tap "Send" to send your picture to all members of the chat room.

  Tap the icons on the left side of the screen to change the color of your ink, add symbols to your chat messages or change the language.

  Press "B" and select "Yes" to leave the chat room.
