How to Make Pikachu Learn Volt Tackle on SoulSilver

As the mascot of the entire "Pokemon" franchise, Pikachu is one of the most recognizable and popular Pokemon. Since it debuted in "Pokemon Red" and "Pokemon Blue," this Electric-type Pokemon has appeared in every "Pokemon" game, including "Pokemon SoulSilver." Volt Tackle is a special move that Pikachu can learn under certain circumstances. It is one of the most powerful Electric-type attacks --- inflicting 120 points of damage on any opponent and possessing an accuracy rate of 100%.

  Catch two Pikachus --- one male and one female. Alternatively, if you have a Ditto, you will only need to catch one Pikachu, which can be either male or female. You can find Ditto on Route 35, Route 47, Cerulean Cave or the Safari Zone. You can find Pikachu in Viridian Forest.

  Attach a Light Ball to either Pikachu. Deposit both Pokemon into the Daycare Center on Route 34, between Goldenrod City and the Ilex Forest. You can find a Light Ball in the Pokewalker's Yellow Forest.

  Travel back and forth between Goldenrod City and Ilex Forest until the man at the Daycare Center gives you a call. This is the signal that the Pokemon have produced an egg.

  Collect the egg from the man at the Daycare Center. Walk around until the egg hatches, which can take anywhere from 1,000 to 10,000 steps. Once the egg hatches, you will have a Pikachu that knows the move Volt Tackle.
