How to Evolve Togetic in Platinum

Togetic evolves into Togekiss through use of a rare item, the Shiny Stone, in "Pokemon Platinum." You find this stone on Iron Island after defeating the Pastoria City gym leader. You can evolve Togetic at any time once you have the Shiny Stone, but consider the Pokemon's experience level first. Togetic learns new battle moves up to Level 51 and stops learning new moves once it becomes Togekiss. You lose the opportunity for Togetic to learn powerful moves such as Double-Edge and Last Resort if you evolve it too soon.

Instructions

  Travel to Canalave City after obtaining the Fen Badge in Pastoria City.

  Walk to the dock south of the Canalave City gym and board the boat to Iron Island.

  Exit the boat when it reaches the island and walk up the stairs to a cave entrance.

  Walk into the cave and follow the path to a set of stairs that lead you down to the next level.

  Continue moving down levels in the cave until you get to the third floor.

  Collect the Pokeball on the third level. It contains a Shiny Stone. Press the "X" button, then click the "Items" pocket to view the stone in your inventory.

  Press the "A" button, then select the "Use" command. Choose Togetic from the list of Pokemon that appears. The stone causes Togetic to immediately evolve into Togekiss.
