How to Get to Goldenrod City from Fuchsia City in Pokemon SoulSilver

In "Pokemon SoulSilver," the player is allowed to roam between two different regions, Kanto and Johto. The player begins in the Johto region and must defeat the Gym Leaders, the Elite Four and the Johto champion to be able to move on to the Kanto region. Fuchsia City is located in Kanto along Routes 15, 17 and 19. Goldenrod City is the largest city in the Johto region and is located between Routes 34 and 35. "Pokemon SoulSilver" is the companion game to "Pokemon HeartGold." The two games are Nintendo DS remakes of the "Pokemon Silver" and "Pokemon Gold" Game Boy Advance games, featuring updated gameplay and graphics.

Instructions

  Use a Pokemon that knows the Surf ability to travel along Routes 19 and 20, past the Seafoam Islands, through Cinnabar Island and up Route 21 to Pallet Town. Continue north through Pallet Town along Route 1 to Viridian City.

  Travel west from Viridian City along Route 22 to the start of Victory Road. Use a Pokemon that knows the Rock Climb ability to climb over any obstructions in the road. Travel south from Victory Road along Routes 26 and 27, past the Tohjo Falls, into the Johto region, to New Bark Town. Continue west along Route 29 to Cherrygrove City. Head north on routes 30 and 31 past the Violet Entrance to the Dark Cave to Violet City.

  Violet City offers two possible routes to Goldenrod City. The first route is to head south along Routes 32 and 33 by the Union Cave to Azalea Town, and then north through the Ilex Forest along Route 34 to Goldenrod City. The second route is to travel west along Route 36 to the National Park, and then south along Route 35 to Goldenrod City.
