How to Unlock the Scribblenaut Avatar in Scribblenauts

The game "Scribblenauts" for Nintendo DS encourages you to use your imagination to solve complex puzzles. If your character encounters a pool of dangerous fish, simply write "jet pack" or "boat," watch the item pop into existence and travel safely across. Finding the right words for each situation often involves trying a number of solutions, without worrying about the one "right" way to solve the puzzle. If you want to unlock the original Scribblenaut avatar, you will have to practice your puzzle-solving skills.

     Complete each of the game's puzzle and action levels in "Challenge" mode. This will unlock the "Advanced" setting.

     Play back through the game again, this time on "Advanced."

   • 3

     Complete every puzzle and action level on the "Advanced" setting to unlock the original Scribblenaut avatar.

   • 4

     Click the gear button on the main menu and select "Avatars" to choose your new avatar.
