How to Beat Megatron on Transformers Autobots on Nintendo DS

Megatron is the final opponent in "Transformers Autobots" for the Nintendo DS. The final fight is a two-stage battle. In the first stage, you fight as a generic Autobot, and in the second stage you fight as Optimus Prime. The fight begins in the city streets at an intersection. At one end, Optimus will be fighting some mechanical scorpions, and Megatron will approach from the other end. As the generic Autobot, you cannot get too far away from Optimus at any point of the fight, or you will fail the mission.

Instructions

- 1
  Lock onto Megatron with your targeting system. Do not fire any missiles at him, but you need to lock onto him to circle around him continuously.

  Circle around Megatron until you get can get behind him and use one melee attack. Avoid trying a second attack, which will put you at risk of getting knocked back by his rockets. Continue circling around Megatron and attacking whenever you have the chance.

  Pick up the Allspark when Megatron drops it, after you have hit him a couple of times. Approach Megatron with the Allspark in hand and use it against him, pressing the A button. The second phase of the fight will then begin.

  Circle around Megatron as Prime, jumping and shooting missiles whenever possible. Find the health boost at the end of each street at the intersection to recharge your health. Use a health boost whenever you need it but conserve them because you have only four.

  Continue to circle around Megatron doing damage whenever possible. Pick up a telephone pole and use it in melee range to deal extra damage. Megatron will eventually fall, and you will have beaten the game.
