How to Kill a Ghost in Scribblenauts

"Scribblenauts," released for the Nintendo DS in 2008, allows you to bring any word to life through the magical notebook of the main character, Maxwell. Any noun that is written into the notebook will become a usable object, vehicle or person, and can be used to complete objectives or defeat enemies. When confronted by a ghost, many conventional weapons will have no effect. Only a few weapons are able to defeat a ghost.

  Tap the "Notebook" icon in the top right corner of the screen.

  Type in a noun using the keypad. Nouns that affect ghosts include holy water, proton pack and ghost hunter.

  Tap the "Checkmark" icon to create your item in the game.

  Drag the item using your stylus and release it to add it to the world. If it is a usable item, release it over Maxwell for him to equip the item.

  Tap the ghost and select "Shoot" or "Throw" depending on the item Maxwell has equipped. If you're using an item from Step 3, the ghost will be defeated.
