Search the game map to find different cooking ingredients. Food locations include treasure chests, dead enemies, shops and even wildly growing food sources. Find the cooking weapons and items found throughout the map. The fruit knife can be bought in the Caldoaxa Shop; the cleaver and tenderizer can be found in the Aegis shop; the ginsu knife is found in random Habara treasure chests; the frying pan must be purchased in the Ft. Eagle Vending Machine or bought from the old lady in Caldoaxa; and the non-stick pan can be found in random treasure chests in Caldoaxa, if you have level 2 lock picking.
Purchase the cooking outfit from the Caldoaxa shop and wear it. Roam the map and attack enemies using your cooking items. This will help boost your cooking skills and help you earn more experience points. You may also find new cooking ingredients this way. Cooking successfully also helps you earn more points.
Take your food to the southeast room of your homeship. A "!" will be visible while wearing the cooking suit. Hit it with a cooking weapon to enter the cooking screen. Hit any "!" in the game map to enter the cooking screen.
Select ingredients from your inventory and move them to the cooking pan. Hit the "A" button to start the cooking process. Some ingredients cannot be combined and the game will automatically stop the cooking. Other recipes may be too advanced.
Click on the cooked food in the pan if you are successful. This adds it to your inventory. Select the food in your inventory and click "use" to eat it and earn its benefits.
