How to Get Sinnoh Sounds in Soul Silver

Pokemon Soul Silver takes you back to the Kanto and Johto regions, just like the original Pokemon Silver. One of the numerous updates in that generation of games include the ability to catch Pokemon from the Sinnoh region (a place not featured in the Soul Silver) in the wild. You will to hear Sinnoh Sounds on your radio in order to do this.

Instructions

    • 1

      Obtain the National PokeDex from Professor Oak after defeating the Pokemon League Champion.

      Wait until Thursday in real-time, or alter the time settings on your Nintendo DS so the system displays the current day as Thursday.

      Open the radio on your PokeGear.

    • 4

      Tune the radio to the Pokemon March station. On Thursdays, after obtaining the National Dex, the Pokemon March station will be replaced by Sinnoh Sounds.
