How to Speak to Jasmine in Olivine City in Pokémon SoulSilver

When you first enter Olivine City in "Pokémon SoulSilver," you may notice that the city's gym leader, Jasmine, is conspicuously absent from her post. In order to get Jasmine to return to her gym, you must find her and speak with her -- a task that can be difficult to accomplish if you do not know where to start your search. Once you find Jasmine, you will learn why she is not at her gym and how you can get her to go back there so that you can battle her and earn your fifth Johto gym badge.

Instructions

  Travel to Olivine City. Once you are there, walk southeast towards the Olivine City lighthouse. Jasmine is located on the top floor of the lighthouse; you will have to climb stairs and ladders to find her. Each floor is filled with trainers who have Pokémon ranging in level from 15 to 22, so come prepared to battle.

  Go up the first floor stairs to enter the second floor. Walk through the second floor and take the stairs leading to the third floor.

  Take the ladder on the left side of the third floor up to the fourth floor.

  Go through the hole in the wall to the right on the fourth floor. You will now be on the outside of the lighthouse on a U-shaped ledge. Run to your right towards the middle section of the ledge. You will see a door; enter it. You will now be on the other side of the third floor.

  Take the ladder to the fourth floor. From the fourth floor, take the ladder up to the fifth floor. Head up the ladder on the fifth floor to enter the sixth floor, where you will find Jasmine.
