How to Find Latios in Pokemon SoulSilver

Latios is a Hoenn Pokemon that makes a special appearance in the Kanto region in "Pokemon SoulSilver." Like the Pokemon Entei and Raikou you meet earlier in the game, Latios roams the region after events in the story trigger its release. An icon on your Pokegear map shows its current location at any given time, but keeping Latios requires player aptitude. You must walk or bicycle to its location to catch up with the Pokemon. Flying spooks the Pokemon and causes him to jump to a new location.

Instructions

  Visit the pink house north of the Pokemon Center in Saffron City.

  Talk to the girl on the second floor in the house to hear how she's lost her favorite doll.

  Travel to Vermillion City to retrieve the doll for her.

  Enter the Pokemon Fan Club building north of the Vermillion City Gym.

  Walk to the table in the center of the room and speak to the fat man standing there. He'll give you the lost doll.

  Exit the fan club and Steven, the Hoenn region Pokemon Champion, stops you. He wonders why some Hoenn Pokemon have come to the Kanto Region.

  Press the "Pokegear" button on your touch screen, then click the map icon. A tiny icon representing Latios now appears on the game map. Use this to track the Pokemon down.

  Walk or bicycle to Latios' location. When you are in the right spot, your icon on the map will overlap the Latios icon. Step into any patch of green grass and the battle begins.
