How to Find the Electrizer in Pokemon SoulSilver Version

The Electrizer is an evolutionary item introduced in the fourth-generation "Diamond," "Pearl," and "Platinum" games for the Nintendo DS. It evolves Electabuzz into Electivire when held and traded, and is the counterpart to the Magmarizer, which evolves Magmar into Magmortar in the same manner. The evolution from Electabuzz into Electivire increases Electabuzz's HP, Attack, and Defense stats, but lowers its Speed. In "HeartGold" and "SoulSilver," players can find the Electrizer deep inside the Cerulean Cave.

Instructions

  Earn 16 badges and speak to Professor Oak to unlock the Cerulean Cave. Use Fly skill and select "Cerulean City."

  Choose Pokemon who know the moves Surf, Flash, Rock Smash and Rock Climb for your party.

  Head north across the Nugget Bridge and use Surf skill on the water. Head west until you reach a cave entrance. Enter the cave.

  Use Flash to light up the cave. Head down to the B1F floor and use Rock Smash to clear the cracked boulders from your path. Use Rock Climb on the rocky path leading up the side of the cliff to find the Electrizer.
