The Battle Frontier is a large battle area introduced in the "Emerald" version of the popular Pokemon franchise. In the fourth generation "Platinum," "HeartGold," and "SoulSilver" versions, the Battle Frontier encompasses the Battle Arcade, Battle Castle, Battle Factory, Battle Hall, and Battle Tower facilities. Players can win Battle Points (BP) by defeating seven trainers in a row at any of the facilities. Once a player has won a certain amount of battles, he or she will face a Frontier Brain for the chance to win a Frontier Symbol along with a hearty number of Battle Points. Players can exchange Battle Points for TMs, vitamins, hold items, and other goodies at various Battle Shops.

Obtain all eight badges from the Johto gyms. Raise your Pokemon to at least level 45 and teach them powerful moves such as "Flamethrower," "Ice Beam," and "Thunderbolt."

Use powerful moves to defeat the Elite Four and the Pokemon League Champion. Watch the credits, and continue the game.

Fly to Olivine City and head west onto Route 40. Head north to reach the Battle Frontier.
