How to Put Games on a DSi

The Nintendo DSi, an upgrade to the Nintendo DS, was released in 2009. One improvement the DSi featured was an online shop, accessible from the DSi main menu. Through this shop, players can download games to their Nintendo DSi, with games being saved to the DSi's internal memory. Prices can vary, from 200 DSi points to over 800 points. A Wi-Fi connection is required to access the DSi shop.

      Turn on your Nintendo DSi.

      Tap the "Nintendo DSi Shop" icon.

      Tap "Start Shopping."

      Tap "DSiWare."

      Tap either a price point, or "Find Titles."

      Tap the title you wish to purchase and download.

      Tap "Download." The DSi points are deducted from your total, located at the top of the screen, and the game is downloaded.

      Tap the game icon from the DSi's main menu to play the game.

      Repeat this process to put additional games on your Nintendo DSi.
