How to Get the Blackthorn City Badge in SoulSilver

"Pokemon SoulSilver" and "Pokemon HeartGold" are Generation 4 remakes of the Generation 2 Game Boy Advance games, "Pokemon Silver" and "Pokemon Gold." Like every Pokemon game in the main series, there are special themed fights in SoulSilver against trainers in Gyms across the world of Johto. In the Blackthorn City Gym, there is a particular set of puzzles that have to be solved before your character can face the trainer.

Instructions

- 1
  Approach the platform over the lava, then stand on the arrow facing left to move it to the left. Step on the blue button in the middle twice to rotate twice, then step on the right facing arrow to step off the platform. Battle the two trainers here, then move to the next platform.
- 2
  Get on the next platform. Step on the arrow facing up, then the blue circle to rotate. Step on the arrow facing right, then rotate twice. Step on the arrow facing right, then step off and battle the three trainers on this island.
- 3
  Move the final platform to the left once, rotate, then move it right. Rotate it, go up three times, then rotate again. Move it right, then rotate it and move it up one last time. Step off to battle Blackthorn City Gym Leader Claire and win the badge.
