How to Get Electivire in SoulSilver

Electivire is an Electric-type Pokemon introduced in the fourth-generation "Pokemon Diamond," "Pokemon Pearl" and "Pokemon Platinum" games for the Nintendo DS. It is the evolved form of Electabuzz and the final evolution of Elekid. Its counterpart is the Fire-type Magmortar. In battle, Electivire is an excellent physical sweeper, able to dish out powerful attacks such as Thunderpunch, Ice Punch, Earthquake and Cross Chop. In "Pokemon SoulSilver," players can obtain Electivire with the help of a special item.

Instructions

  Catch, trade for or migrate an Electabuzz.

  Obtain all 16 badges, eight from Johto and eight from Kanto, and speak to Professor Oak in Pallet Town.

  Fly to Cerulean City.

  Go north across the Nugget Bridge and surf west to find a cave entrance. Enter the Cerulean Cave.

  Make your way down to the B1F floor and examine each item ball until you find the Electirizer. Equip Electabuzz with the Electirizer.
- 6
  Enter the Global Trade Station and offer Electabuzz for trade. Immediately take back Electabuzz, and it will evolve into Electivire.
