Catch Banette
Fly to the Survival Area, Route 225, at night.
Walk in the grassy area on Route 225, or try grassy areas on the nearby routes 226 and 227, until you meet a Banette.
Lower Banette's health with any type of move other than a Ghost- or Dark-type move, which do double damage. You don't want to knock Banette out, or you won't be able to catch it.
Toss an Ultra Ball or Dusk Ball when Banette's HP meter is in the red, indicating that its health is low. Banette's catch rate is 45, so it's not very easy to catch.
Keep tossing Ultra Balls or Dusk Balls until Banette stays in the ball. Dusk Balls have a high success rate when used at night.
Catch both a male and female Banette if you want to breed them to get a Shuppet.
Breed Banette for Shuppet
Fly to Solaceon Town and visit the Pokemon Day Care building.
Give the Pokemon Day Care lady your male and female Banettes.
Leave the Day Care Center and walk around. After a few hundred steps, return to the Day Care Center and talk to the man standing outside. He'll give you an egg.
Keep the egg in your party and walk around until Shuppet hatches.
