How to Get the Magnet Train Ticket in Pokemon SoulSilver

In "Pokemon SoulSilver," the Magnet Train provides a quick way to travel between the Johto and Kanto regions. When you first encounter the Magnet Train, it's not working due to a villain from Team Rocket having stolen a component from a power plant. After you've retrieved the component, you can ride the train -- but only if you possess a special ticket. Fortunately, a girl named Copycat has a ticket she is willing to part with -- but only if you go on a quest for her.

Instructions

- 1
  Travel to Saffron City and speak to the girl whose nickname is Copycat. Her house is just below the Magnet Train station, and she was given the train ticket because her house had to be shifted for the station's construction. She will agree to give you the ticket in exchange for her Clefairy doll that she has lost.

  Exit her house and travel to Vermilion City. Go to the Pokemon Fan Club, which is just to the west of the Pokemart in town. Inside you will see a man holding a Clefairy doll.

  Speak to the man and he will hand over the doll to you. You will only get the doll if you have spoken to Copycat and she mentioned the missing doll to you.

  Leave the Pokemon Fan Club and return to Saffron City. Go to the girl's house and speak to her again to receive your ticket for the Magnet Train.
