How Do I Catch Corsola in SoulSilver?

Corsola is a dual-type Pokemon, specializing in water and rock. Making its first appearance in the second generation of "Pokemon" games, Corsola figures in subsequent titles in the series including "Pokemon: SoulSilver Version." Corsola is pink and white, and has four nubby legs and a number of coral-like protrusions sprouting from its back. Because Corsola is a rare Pokemon to encounter in the wild, and players have a slight chance of capturing it by throwing a Pokeball, acquiring it during game play requires persistence.

Instructions

    • 1

Travel to one of the "SoulSilver" locations where Corsolas live. They appear in Cinnabar Island, Cerulean City, Cianwood City, Olivine City and Cherrygrove City, as well as along Routes 19, 20, 21, 34, 40 and 41.

    • 2

Walk around your chosen area, engaging in fights with Wild Pokemon, until a Corsola attacks you.

    • 3

Capture a wild Corsola: Corsolas have an extremely low capture rate, so do not just throw a Pokeball at them. Engage it in battle to weaken it, but do not kill it. Corsolas are weak against physical attacks, ground attacks, grass attacks and electric attacks. When you have damaged it significantly, throw a Pokeball at it to attempt a capture.

    • 4

Repeat the process until you've captured a Corsola.
