How to Evolve Gligar on Platinum

Gligar is a Ground- and Flying-type Pokemon introduced in the second-generation "Gold," "Silver" and "Crystal" games. It evolves into Gliscor when leveled up at night while holding a "Razor Fang." Upon evolving, Gligar becomes a versatile Pokemon in battle, able to learn a wide range of attacks such as "Earthquake," "Stealth Rock," "Swords Dance," "U-turn" and "Baton Pass." This enables Gligar to take on offensive, defensive, scout and support roles. In "Platinum," you can evolve Gligar by finding the "Razor Fang."

Instructions

  Defeat the Elite Four and the Pokemon League Champion. See all 210 Pokemon in the Sinnoh Pokedex and speak to Professor Rowan in Sandgem Town. Professor Oak will appear and give you the National Pokedex.

  Fly to Snowpoint City and board the ship. You will arrive at the Fight Area.

  Head north through the gatehouse and use "Rock Climb" on the rocky path leading up the cliff to your immediate left. Examine the patch of land to find the "Razor Fang."

  Equip Gligar with the "Razor Fang" and raise it one level during the game's night hours to evolve it into Gliscor.
