How to Get Meowth in Mystery Dungeon Darkness

In the "Pokemon" anime series, Meowth was the big-mouth assistant to Team Rocket. In the video game, Meowth lacks that specific personality but, with its speed and technical abilities, is still a strong ally in the Pokemon trainer's journey. The strategy-based series, "Pokemon Mystery Dungeon," allows players to take control of the Pokemon themselves. Through a series of trivia questions, the game determines your personality and which Pokemon best represents you. To play as Meowth, the game must determine the player to be "sassy" if male or "relaxed" if female. The game also allows the option to play as Meowth as your companion Pokemon.

Instructions

  Start "Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Darkness" and choose to begin a new game.

  Set up your profile and the game will begin the quiz.

  Respond with answers that could be described as "sassy," if male, or "relaxed," if female. For example you might get a question like, "You have to move a heavy suitcase" and you would answer, "Make someone else do it!" if you were male. If female, it could ask, "Hey, what's that? There's someone behind you! So... did you look just now?" and you would choose "Huh? What?"

  Complete the quiz and the Pokemon which the game believes best represents you will be selected. If you did not get Meowth, you could restart the game and complete the quiz until you do or you can select Meowth as your companion Pokemon.

  Choose Meowth when presented with the companion Pokemon options. If Meowth does not appear, choose any of the other Pokemon. You will then be asked if you are sure. Click No. Another collection of potential companions will appear. If Meowth is still not an option, continue this process until it becomes an option.
