How Do I Get Groudon & Kyogre in Pokemon: SoulSilver?

Groudon and Kyogre are legendary Pokemon with powerful abilities. Groudon is a ground-type Pokemon and knows skills such as Drought, Eruption and Lava Plume. Kyogre is a water-type with abilities like Drizzle, Body Slam and Aqua Tail. Both Pokemon are the chosen legendary representatives of their own game, with Groudon being the face of "Pokemon SoulSilver" and Kyogre the mascot of "Pokemon HeartGold."

Instructions

  Defeat the Champion of the Pokemon League as well as the Kimono Girls. You must complete both of these tasks before moving forward.

  Visit Professor Oak in Olivine City. He will reward you with the National Pokedex.

  Defeat Red in Pallet Town, and then speak with Professor Oak again. He will allow you to choose one of the Kanto starting Pokemon.

  Talk to Mr. Pokemon in Johto. He will award you with the Red Orb item, which will allow you to access the Embedded Tower.
- 5
  Fight Groudon in the Embedded Tower and capture him.
