How to Catch Glaceon in Pokemon Ranger

There is only one frozen location where players can catch a Glaceon in "Pokemon Ranger: Shadows of Almia" for the Nintendo DS. Glaceon, the evolved Ice-type form of Eevee, is known for its chilly moves, including Hail, Ice Shard and Blizzard. Pokemon Rangers need the help of Pokemon to effectively explore the landscape. In this instance, the Pokemon Ranger will need to recruit the help of an Empoleon to get to the Ice Lake.

Instructions

    • 1

Walk the path east and northward to the Ice Lake. The easiest way to find the path is to start by exiting Shiver Camp into Hia Valley and then heading east from there.

    • 2

Talk to the scientist upon arriving at the shore of Ice Lake, and capture the lone Empoleon wandering around nearby. Players capture Pokemon in "Pokemon Ranger: Shadows of Almia" by drawing loops around the creature on the lower screen of the Nintendo DS using the stylus. Once the Pokemon has been circled the required amount of times, the monster is captured.

    • 3

Bring Empoleon to the Ice Lake's waterfront and use its "River Flow 2" move to ride the rough current. Use the large penguin-like creature's speed boosts to break through ice blocks to navigate the lake.

    • 4

Explore the land-based areas of Ice Lake to encounter wild Glaceon randomly. Use the Styler to draw loops around Glaceon enough times to capture it.
