How to Go in the Elevator in SoulSilver

While exploring Saffron City in "Pokemon SoulSilver" for the Nintendo DS, players are able to enter the headquarters of the "Silph Corporation." The Silph Corporation is responsible for many of the inventions in the Pokemon world, like the Pokeballs and repels. Inside their headquarters is a seemingly broken elevator that players cannot access. However, there is a way to get into the elevator and go down to a new floor where players will find a new room containing five appliances.

Instructions

  Trade or import the plasma Pokemon Rotom from "Pokemon Diamond," "Pokemon Pearl" or "Pokemon Platinum." Rotom is the key to the elevator and the room that it leads to.

  Open the party member screen and place Rotom in front. Travel to Saffron City and enter the Silph Co. building that is in the middle of town.

  Walk up to the elevator and press the "A" button while facing it. With Rotom in your party the elevator will become active, and you can enter it to reach a new floor. Here you find a room with appliances that Rotom can take over for new forms.
