How to Catch Mew in Pokemon HeartGold

Mew is a Legendary Psychic-type Pokemon that can only be caught in "Pokemon HeartGold" through the use of a game modifying device, such as the Action Replay. With the Action Replay, you can enter a code that will allow you to battle Mew in the wild, at which point you can catch it with a Poke Ball. The only way to obtain Mew without a game modifying device is to trade it from a copy of "Pokemon Diamond," "Pokemon Pearl" or "Pokemon Platinum."
