How to Make a Rope in Lost in Blue 3 for the DS

In "Lost in Blue 3," you and your companion, Claire, are stranded on a tropical island. Together, you must use your survival skills, like cooking, hunting and crafting, to make a new life for yourselves. In the second chapter of the game, you find a river, and want to explore the other side. For that, you need rope to build a makeshift bridge. On a deserted island, everything, including rope, must be made by hand.

Instructions

  Play "Lost in Blue 3" until you reach Chapter 2. You start the chapter in the jungle.

  Look around the jungle for vines on the ground. You need only one vine to make a rope. If you are trying to gather supplies to make a bridge, you need a log, too.

  Tap on the vine to pick it up. If you cannot carry anything else because of a full inventory, press "Y." Press "A" to speak with Claire, and then say, "I have something to give you." Select "Please hold on to this" to give her some of your items.

  Go back to your home. Talk to Claire and select "Vines" when she asks what you want to talk about. Claire puts your vines in the corner.

  Walk up to the vines and tap them. Ask Claire to make a rope for you. When she asks when you want the rope to be finished, say, "Two days."

  Talk to Claire again after two in-game days have passed. She gives you the rope. You are now able to take this, as well as a log, to the river to build a bridge.
