How to Get Celebi to Appear in HeartGold

Celebi, a grass and psychic-type Pokemon, has the ability to travel through time, although it usually chooses to settle into a time period during peaceful eras. Celebi's six stats - hit points, attack, defense, special attack, special defense and speed - are all equal, making Celebi an adept and flexible fighter. Although players cannot capture Celebi in the wild in "Pokemon HeartGold," it can be caught through a Nintendo special event. Celebi also makes it possible for players to witness and participate in a special storyline. Celebi can then be traded to other Nintendo DS Pokemon games.

Instructions

  Search for information on upcoming Nintendo events. These events can be found through listings on the official Pokemon web site's "News and Events" page, or on the Serebii event database. If using the event database, select "ûCelebi" from the drop-down menu to view all past, present and future events related to Celebi.

  Attend one of Nintendo's official Pokemon events in which Celebi is given away. Some of these events are carried out through Wi-Fi on the Nintendo DS games, while other events occur in-store.

  Bring your Nintendo DS and copy of "HeartGold" to the event. You will automatically receive Celebi. It may be at level 10, 30, 50 or 70.
