How to Get a Magnezone in SoulSilver

As with other "Pokémon" games, there are certain monsters that are exclusive to "Pokémon SoulSilver" and some that can only be obtained through trading from other fourth generation "Pokémon" games. To get a Magnezone, one must evolve it from a Magnemite or Magneton in Mount Coronet -- a location that is not available in "SoulSilver". To acquire Magnezone in "SoulSilver", you must evolve the Pokémon on either "Pokémon Diamond" or "Pearl" and then trade it to "SoulSilver".

"Pokémon Pearl" or "Pokémon Diamond"

Instructions

- 1
  Capture Magnemite or Magneton on either "Pokémon Diamond" or "Pokémon Pearl". You can find them roaming near the Fuego Ironworks.

  Enter Magnemite into battles to gain experience points and bring the Pokémon up to level 30. At level 30, Magnemite will evolve into Magneton.

  Travel to Mount Coronet and have Magneton increase one level while inside the mountain. Leveling up Magneton in Mount Coronet causes the Pokémon to evolve into Magnezone. Save the game.

  Travel to the Pokémon Center in Phenac City, Agate Village or Gateon Port. Enter the local DS connection area through the middle door on the second floor or the global wi-fi network in the basement. On another Nintendo DS, go to the same location on "Pokémon SoulSilver" (or have a friend do so on his system), and conduct a trade. Magnezone will now be available on "SoulSilver".
