How to Get Zubat in Pokemon Diamond

Zubat, a poison and flying-type Pokemon, has been a part of the "Pokemon" franchise since the very beginning and is available in "Pokemon Diamond" as well. Zubat is very effective against bug and grass Pokemon, but weak against fighting and psychic-type Pokemon. At level 22, Zubat evolves into Golbat, and evolves again into Crobat when he has achieved maximum happiness. Zubats are in multiple locations in "Pokemon Diamond," mostly residing in underground locations.

Instructions

  Travel to any underground location, such as a cave. Some locations to find a Zubat include Mt. Coronet, Iron Island and the Ravaged Path.

  Walk inside of the cave. As you walk, Pokemon will randomly battle you. Continue to walk around in the cave until Zubat appears. Depending on the location, Zubat's level can be as low as four or as high as 35.

  Use your Pokemon's attack moves to lower Zubat's health until his health bar is in the red. Avoid using fighting or psychic-type Pokemon, as you may accidentally do too much damage and defeat him.

  Use any Pokemon moves that affect Zubat's status, such as Sleep Powder, Stun Spore or Sing. Avoid moves that do damage over time -- if Zubat is defeated, you must repeat the process over again.

  Select "Bag" and use your strongest available Pokeball to catch Zubat. If he breaks free, continue to use Pokeballs on him until he is caught.
