How to Get Pokeradar in Pokemon

The "PokeRadar" is a special item that was introduced in the "Diamond," "Pearl" and "Platinum" Pokemon games for the Nintendo DS. This item allows players to find Pokemon in the wild by indicating the area where they are hiding. Player characters must be on foot to use the device and, when used, any patches of long grass in the area begin to shake showing where the Pokemon are. This item has to be charged after it has been used, and this is done simply by walking around with it.

Instructions

  Play through the game until you have all 150 Pokemon in your Pokedex. Any Pokemon you see are automatically added to the Pokedex so you do not have to capture them for their info to be added. Pokemon belonging to other trainers also count.

  Go to the town of Sandgem, and enter the lab of Professor Rowan. Sandgem Town is in the bottom left corner of the map between Twin Leaf Town and Jubilife City.

  Speak to Professor Rowan, and answer "YES" if he asks you if you have come to show him your Pokedex. Professor Oak will enter and, after a short conversation, your Pokedex will be upgraded to the National Dex. As soon as Professor Oak leaves, Professor Rowan gives you the PokeRadar as a reward for filling your Pokedex.
