How to Delete Your Saved Files in Pokemon HeartGold

"Pokemon HeartGold" is an updated version of the Gameboy Color game "Pokemon Gold" available for the Nintendo DS. In the game, players travel around the Johto and Kanto regions of the Pokemon universe capturing wild Pokemon and doing battle with other Pokemon trainers. You must delete your saved game files to restart your Pokemon adventure.

     Start "Pokemon HeartGold."

     Wait for "Pokemon HeartGold" to load to the title screen.

   • 3

     Press the "B" button "Up" button and "Select" button at the same time. A new screen will pop up asking if you wish to delete your data.

     Answer "Yes" to all of the questions. Your Nintendo DS will delete your "Pokemon HeartGold" saved data and the game will restart.
