How to Get a Gliscor in SoulSilver

In "Pokemon SoulSilver," it's beneficial for a trainer to have a Ground-type Pokemon, such as Gliscor, in her party because of the vast variety of Electric-type Pokemon to be found. Gliscor is a Ground- and Flying-type, which means it's immune to both Electric- and Ground-type moves. Besides Gliscor's unique typing, this Pokemon also has great stats and an excellent move pool to work with. In teams created strategically, Gliscor often serves as a defensive Pokemon because of its high defense stat.

Instructions

    • 1

Start "Pokemon Diamond," "Pokemon Pearl" or "Pokemon Platinum." Buy Great Balls or Ultra Balls and head to Route 206. Walk through the long grass and wait for a Gligar to appear. Attack the Gligar until its health is in the red zone. Use the Great Balls or Ultra Balls to capture the weak Pokemon.

    • 2

Insert a fourth-generation game in one Nintendo DS, and place the "Pokemon SoulSilver" cartridge in another. Go to any Pokemon Center and walk upstairs. Speak to the women behind the counters. One of them should take you to the Union Room. Trade the Gligar from the fourth-generation game to "Pokemon SoulSilver."

    • 3

Buy the Razor Fang in Johto from the Battle Frontier. If you haven't reached the Battle Frontier yet, get the Razor Fang from a fourth- or fifth-generation Pokemon game. Attach the Razor Fang to your Gligar.

    • 4

Wait until nighttime, which is after 6:00 p.m. in the game. Make sure the Gligar is holding the Razor Fang. Battle wild Pokemon with your Gligar, or give it a Rare Candy. Once it levels up, it should evolve into a Gliscor.
